Blackberries! Tons of ‘em! In the holler behind the barns! I went nuts picking berries, got all sweaty and gross and was picking off ticks all night. Why are the best berries the hardest to reach? So when I get back from my trip, I’m gonna learn how to make blackberry preserves with cousin Georgia!
Speaking of my trip….. I’m leavin’ on a jet plane…. Yes! It’s Romance Writers of America conference time! My clothes are packed, my hair is highlighted, my nails are painted. TIME TO GO! I’ll be back and blogging August 8th….cuz I’m going to California for a week right after RWA, touring San Francisco and playing hooky with Jill Shalvis! Golden Gate Bridge! Street cars! Redwoods!
