Daily Dribble
My Butterboo heard about the impending kittens and did what all spoiled children do when new babies are coming. He has reverted to infancy. He sat himself in the antique highchair yesterday. Isn’t he the cutest? He’s glad we saved Dead Meat, Goner, and Mud for the kitten names…………
Me, I went to the cute little library here this week. This town is so cute. Everything is tiny and cute. One gas station. One bank. One grocery store (with four aisles). One guy works at the tiny cute post office. He takes lunch at noon and they close up! I love the library. It doesn’t have any crap. Meaning, almost all it has is popular fiction, and plenty of it! Lots of new books in hardcover that I usually have to wait to get my hands on till they come out in paperback. I picked up: Eleven On Top and Metro Girl by Janet Evanovich, The Summons by John Grisham, and State of Fear by Michael Crichton. What to read first??? At the checkout counter, they had a whole stack of MY books! I had my son with me. I said, look–my books! He said, whatever…….. I went to Books-A-Million with my daughter this week, too. I dragged her over to admire the romance section and pointed out Deep Blue. I said, look, aren’t you impressed with your mommy? She said, can we GO?? At least the librarian thinks I’m cool…….
So what are you reading?
(Pssst! Check out the brand new Silhouette Intimate Moments authors site!)
