We had a great holiday yesterday and I’ve posted some of the fireworks pictures here just for fun. There was some whining because in North Carolina, unlike when we lived in Texas, you aren’t allowed to set off personal fireworks that leave the ground. Our kids managed to have fun getting in touch with their inner pyromaniac anyway.

Over six months ago I started my blog (the archives here only go back to February because I didn’t move over all of them when I switched blogging platforms a while back). When I started blogging I only knew a handful of people who had blogs, and now almost everyone I know has a blog! It’s a blog explosion in romanceland!
Through blogging, I’ve gotten to know writers, readers, reviewers, and booksellers across the country–and the world! When I started my blog, I thought it would be fun. I studied the blogs I could find and realized that the ones where the bloggers posted regularly and energetically were the most entertaining to me. Personally, I haven’t missed a day in six months except when we were away on vacation and this past weekend when I set up an entry with a contest to stand all weekend. Blogging is the first thing I do every day. It’s become part of my life, like my morning coffee. And all the blogs I visit have become part of my life, too. So thank you to all of you bloggers out there who entertain me every day with your blogs–and all of you who come here to visit me.:heart:
