bluuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuue

I’ve been feeling very mopey lately. This is my current work schedule:

5 am: Wake up. Decide to mope all day.

5:01 am to 1:00 pm: Mope.

1:01 pm: Husband calls to see how day is going. Explain busy moping thing. Husband asks if he HAS to come home. Answer is yes.

1:02 pm to 6:30 pm: Mope some more.

6:31: Husband arrives home. Explain moping all day has completely worn me out.

6:32: Husband brings glass of chardonnay and maintains safe distance whilst cooking dinner and explaining to children that mommy is scary right now .

9 pm: Go to bed in moping mode.

Today I will not mope. Okay, that’s a lie. I WILL MOPE. But I’m going to do things today WHILE MOPING. Yes, I am a multi-tasker!!!! I’m going to write my hot, hunky merman and send my editor a PAX mug. I AM SUCH A SUCK-UP. :hehe:

What do you do when you’re blue?

My then-twelve-year-old son walked in the door and said, “You’ve brought us to this slanted little house to die." Keep reading our story....

"First it's glowing, then it's snowing! A pause, then screaming squalls and williwaws. Bright but bitter, then a thaw. Yet again it's cold and storming: What ever happened to global warming?"
